These are NVidia and ATI Radeon, and you could think of them as the equivalents of Intel and AMD in the case of the processors. The display interface is the connector that is being use to interface with the monitor and just like in the case of the bus interface, there are different types of display interfaces as well. One type of interface is the VGA which is suitable for the CRT monitors and for some older LCD monitors. They use an analog signal and because of that they are not so popular.
The DVI signal is used in the cases of the LCD monitors and it connects digital signal into a digital output display. You have the possibility of using two LCD monitors and in this case you will need a video card which has a dual channel DVI interface. This one is similar to the one which has a single DVI interface. The TV out and S-Video is the port which is used in order to connect the monitor into your TV or HDTV.
